Launch Avid Link, in settings, enable AvidMedia Style before launching avid. And make sure the appropriate drives per project are mounted to avoid offline media.
You need to do this if you are working with Edit Share
Check to make sure all the drives are mounted on file explorer/ Nexus / Edit Share
In Avid, CTRL/ Command 6 to bring up the console, type all drives and select the prompt, this will run checks and makes sure all drives are set to media drives which should fix the issue.
Locate where the AvidMedia files are and delete the mdb file. Navigate back to Avid which will cause Avid to rescan and create a new mdb file. This should bring the media back online.
Navigate to the sequence and set bin display. In the columns, navigate to drive and see where the offline media is pointing to. Check the drive letter and if it's already mounted but still appearing offline, unmount the drive and mount it to the same letter as it appears in avid. Repeat solution 2
In file explorer, Copy the path address
Navigate to 'This PC' right click and choose 'Map network drive
Paste the path address onto folder area and Click finish
It will create a ‘drive’ that’s easier to navigate to.
